The DoorBird A1081 Ip I/O Door Controller is the ideal addition to the DoorBird family of intercoms. The DoorBird Door Controller allows up to 3 doors or gates to be controlled over a LAN (Local Area Network), eliminating the need for the Doorbird to be connected directly to the door/gate and therefore adding an additional layer of security.  Communication between the Doorbird and door controller is encrypted to meet worldwide banking standards.

Installation is quick and easy, with both PoE and Wifi options, with all setup done via the DoorBird app. An unlimited number of Door Controllers can be used in an installation, allowing any door or gate to be opened from anywhere in the world with a smartphone.

  • Up 3 x Doors or Gates
  • Wifi, Ethernet and PoE
  • App configurable
  • Unlimited Door Controllers

Bought this to control garage and drive gates. Simple to set up if you already have a Doorbird door bell system. I use on WIFI in a garage environment and is responsive with 1-2 seconds. The relays are accessed via the same 'key' button as the internal Doorbird relay within the app. As previous review the rename of the relay is limited (one name per controller) and cannot be individually labelled ie Garage, gates etc. Overall good experience, only one star removed because it has to be installed in an enclosure if located in a garage or outside which makes WIFI difficult.

This is a great add-on to your existing DoorBird intercom, if you have the need to trigger more than one relay. I bought this, as I needed a method of stopping my gates from closing once opened, and found this to be the best 'integrated' approach. However, it does have one drawback... you can't rename the relays in the app (at the moment!), so all relays are called the same thing, e.g. Gates relay 1, Gates relay 2, etc... this doesn't rate very high on the WAF scale. Almost 5 stars, but the missus knocked one off.
