Staying completely out of sight, the IV140 Invisible speaker from Monitor Audio offers ideal punchy bass and high sound vibrations. It fits well into all kinds of conventional 4 in. stud bays while leaving enough room for caballing. Once skimmed with plaster or wallpaper, the speaker is completely invisible leaving no framing of any sort. An integrated back box design is incorporated to ensure sound isolation which leads to consistent and controlled performance. The automatic re-setting circuit breakers (PTC) provides protection overload.
The 2-way system contains one low-frequency transducer and two high-frequency transducers that take care of both bass and high-frequency sound requirements. The speaker gives two kinds of frequency responses depending on the way it has been placed - 75 Hz - 18 kHz when CP sealed and 55 Hz - 18 kHz when installed open back. the interior cavity is housed in a 9mm MDF box which keeps abrasion at bay.
