The Russound D250LS two channel amplifier is a brilliant powered amplifier. When used alongside the IW21 in wall iDock it allows you to listen to your favourite music through your ceiling speakers and control the volume using just your iPod/iPhone.  The clever amplifier switches itself on when it receives the audio message from your iPod/iPhone and switches back to standby when you stop your device from playing.  
It can also be used as an invisible amplifier for when you are listening to your music through ceiling speakers, if you decide you would like to watch TV then the amplifier will switch the sound from your music source to your TV output, allowing you to have your TV sound through your ceiling speakers/speaker system. The amplifier is neat and due to its compact size can be placed in a discrete location.
